Rare Native to central Africa, this unusual Sansevieria grows to 5 feet tall with huge leaves 8 to 10 inches wide, and is easily the largest of the cultivated Sansevierias. Hardy to around 30 degrees, can grow in sun or shade. Leaves have a beautiful mottled color. We only have a few of these in stock. |

Sarracenia leucophylla, also known as the White pitcher plant, is a carnivorous plant in the genus Sarracenia. Pitcher plants inhabit moist and low-nutrient longleaf pine savannas along the Gulf Coast, growing on the sandy bank edges of shallow water ponds, bogs and creeks. Pitcher Plants have erect and tubular pitchers that are passivly attractive to many insects. The hoods protect the pitchers from filling with water during rain. Rare Grown in Hawaii where it is frequently used in flower leis, Pakalana Vine is one of the most wonderfully fragrant fines known. Native to India, China, Indo-China. The plant is an evergreen twining vine growing 10 to 20 feet, with heart shape leaves with long petioles. Cream yellow to orange flowers bloom spring summer and fall. The flowers buds are edible. Must be protected from cold weather during winter months. |

Thunbergia erecta is a vigorous, woody shrub from Tropical Africa that grows to about 6-feet-tall and wide. This shrub has small, ovate leaves with entire margins borne opposite on thin, brown stems. The purple flowers have a yellow throat and grow to 1 1/4 inches long and may appear singly or in small clusters. These lovely, slightly fragrant blooms occur all year long, especially in the summer.

Rare Perennial grass to 8 feet tall, usually less. It is an excellent erosion control plant with deeply rooted stems in clumps. Vetiver is mainly cultivated for the fragrant essential oil distilled from its aromatic roots. It is contained in 90% of all western perfumes. Vetiver is closely related to other fragrant grasses such as Lemon Grass (Cymbopogon citratus), citronella (Cymbopogon nardus, C. winterianus), and Palmarosa (Cymbopogon martinii). Vetiver oil has medicinal properties. Though it originates in India, vetiver is widely cultivated in the tropical regions of the world. |

Outstanding hard to find variety of "Chaste Tree". Very hardy, finely dissected lacy foliage topped with spikes of lavender purple blooms. Leaves look like 4 inch wide green snow flakes. This Vitex species is easy to grow and enjoys plenty of sunlight and good drainage. Grows to around 10 feet tall. Attracts butterflies and bees. This is one of my personal favorites! Our plant in the ground at the nursery always attracts many comments. |

A fat trunk cycad from Mexico and Belize, slow growing to about 4 feet tall and 5 feet wide. Leaves are thick leathery gray green in color. Great tropical accent for patio garden, protect from freezing. For best looking sturdy plants, give near full sun as new leaves emerge. After new leaves have hardened off, the plant can be moved to a shady location if desired. |
