BAMBUSA TEXTILIS

Weavers Bamboo... Also known as Kanapaha, Mutabilis

50' tall, 2.3" dia culms, good to 18 degrees Fahrenheit

One of the most beautiful mid-sized bamboos with erect, thin walled culms with persistent white bloom near the nodes. Long internodes, small leaves, and graceful nodding culms give this bamboo a classic Asian appearance. The thin walled culms are used in weaving. Weavers Bamboo is both a beautiful specimen plant and excellent as a border hedge. This is a “must have” for any bamboo collection.
